My First Coding Experience

Coding , also known as computer programming is the process of designing ,writing , texting and maintaining the source code of software programming. It involves using languages such as python, Java and c++ etc to create institutional that a computer can understand .

At Kadahive where I was opportune by my school to go for coding classes was my first coding experience class.

I was excited and nervous but at the same time I had always been interested in coding and to me this is just an opportunity for me to do so . I was not sure what to expect and I was worried that I would not be able to keep up with the other students . The first thing that struck me was the number of students in the class. I was surprised to see how many people were also interested in Wed design .

The instructor was knowledgeable and passionate about web designing. There were about four instructors to guide us on what to do . He gave us a brief introduction about Wed designing and coding. He started by introducing us to the basics of web designing which are HTML which means hypertext makeup language is a programming language used to create and structure content for the web and CSS which stands for Cascading Style sheets used to style and format the appearance of the web page .He explained how this language come together to create a web site . I was amazed in how much I was able to learn in just one class because the instructor was able to explain the concept in a way that was easy to understand, I was surprised at how quickly I was able to pick up the basics . I felt like I had a good grasp of the basics, and I was excited to learn more.

Designing a web can seem intimidating for beginners ,but with the write tool and resources it can be a fun and rewarding experience. Overall my first coding class experience was a positive one . I learnt alot and I had alot of fun. I am excited to continue learning and to see where my coding journey takes me.
