On 24th March, representatives of the Legal, Digital and LegalTech sectors convened in person and virtually for the inaugural LegalTech in Leeds Conference, hosted by Bruntwood at its West Gate building in central Leeds.
The LegalTech in Leeds initiative has sought to bring the legal and digital sectors together, and has been supported by Barclays, Bruntwood SciTech, DAC Beachcroft, Leeds City Council, Leeds Law Society, Pinsent Masons, rradar, Salesforce, Toca.io, and the University of Law. The key aim of the initiative has been to bring together the legal and digital sectors, and in doing so to help drive digital adoption, support entrepreneurs seeking to work in LegalTech, and improve access to legal services.
The conference had a jam-packed agenda of fireside chats, key note speakers, panel discussions and reverse pitches and all attendees had a common interest and shared passion for driving innovation in the legal sector.
