How My Writing Comes To Me

I basically write about what goes through my mind. I listen to what it has to say in moments when it speaks the loudest. Letting these thoughts remain in my head doesn’t cut it anymore. Putting them on paper for you to read, looks like the only reasonable thing.
My mind needed to be heard, so I gave it a voice, which is what you read here. Without writing them down, it would have remained silenced.
It looks like the more I let it out, the more it fights for attention. Sometimes, I write and when I re-read, I get surprised because it seems so strange to me.
“Who wrote this” I usually ask myself.
I feel like my mind is another person that I just got introduced to. I think these words are trying to recreate me. Daily I get familiarised with this new person. Following and trusting its words. All because I allowed it to be heard.
I don’t know where these words will take me. But I guess we will see.
We all need a form of expression. You’re not living until you can let out your unique qualities that make you who you are.
