Ah the good old days, when white Christians were in charge, and everybody else knew their place. This is what the right is so desperately clinging to. They resent anybody else has any rights or input in decisions. They want a single party system, like such wonderful places as China, Iran, or Russia. Tho they still want the charade of voting so they can say its freedom, but the outcome should be predetermined where they always win.
