Peace, faireness and equality… says who?

Thanks for your article, I’m similarly not buying the way Bell presents the Universe and his tweaking of the Christian message, but I’m not sure you follow your own logic through either. When you say we need to come to terms with the meaningless-ness of life and then say we need ‘to bring more peace than there was before, more goodwill than there was before, more equality and fairness than there was before.’ Who gets to say what these things are? Surely we have to accept peace, equality and faireness are an illusion in any moral or objective sense?
