Leveraging CSR Can Boost Your Brand’s Identity

Cultivating a positive corporate narrative is on the top of every organization's list of “to do’s.” One way corporations do this is by leveraging their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) efforts. Gillette, the men’s razor brand, is currently running an ad entitled “Boys Will Be Boys” in support of their CSR efforts.

Gillette’s website sites, “it’s time we acknowledge that brands, like ours, play a role in influencing culture. And as a company that encourages men to be their best, we have a responsibility to make sure we are promoting positive, attainable, inclusive and healthy versions of what it means to be a man.”

This narrative aligns not only with their brand but with the current social climate. It was an opportunity for Gillette to reconnect with their audience and acknowledge their brand's efforts of not only building a better internal identity but helping their community at large.
