Disclaimer: Tokenova Testnet Launch will happen in November 2023. To stay tuned — please follow the official Telegram channel.

You might be already aware that two core components of Tokenova are Jetton Self-Launch Studio and Launchpad:

  1. Jetton Self-Launch Studio. Studio that streamlines the management of a jetton throughout its entire lifecycle, providing a no-code solution for deploying, distributing, and maintaining a project’s jetton.
  2. Telegram-native Launchpad. A vibrant space where community members can actively participate in jetton sales driven by passionate builders from within the community. In our quest to make the token experience as seamless as possible, we’ve integrated Tokenova within Telegram. This mini-app is user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and practical.

Today marks the release of our Launchpad on Testnet, offering a glimpse into the seamless experience of participating in token sales on Tokenova. Beyond exploring Tokenova firsthand, you can also engage in our latest community challenge hosted by @community_bot and get Tokenova Pass NFT as a reward.

We’re kickstarting our journey on TON testnet, since this approach allows us to demonstrate our features and offer a practical experience without incurring any costs for participants.

What is TON’s Testnet?

TON testnet is a development and testing environment for TON blockchain. It functions as a sandbox, allowing developers to experiment, test, and validate their applications and smart contracts without any real-world consequences.

Difference Between Testnet and Mainnet:

  1. Purpose: While the mainnet is the primary network where real transactions take place and have actual value, the testnet is purely for testing and development purposes.
  2. Value: Coins on the testnet function identically to those on the mainnet. However, testnet coins do not hold any real-world value, unlike mainnet coins.
  3. Stability: The testnet can be stopped, reset, or undergo frequent updates. It’s essential to understand that there’s no business value in the testnet, and data can be wiped clean.

To view the testnet blockchain and its transactions, the recommended explorer is https://testnet.tonscan.org/.

Guide on participation in Tokenova Testnet Launch

Get a TON testnet wallet

The preferred wallet for TON testnet participation is Tonkeeper. However, any wallet compatible with TON Connect and equipped for testnet use is suitable. To install the Tonkeeper mobile app, please follow this link.

  1. Launch the Tonkeeper app.
  2. If you don’t have a wallet, click “Create wallet” and follow the steps, ensuring you back up your seed phrase.
  3. In the Tonkeeper settings, scroll to the bottom to find the Tonkeeper logo and app version. Tap the logo five times to access the developer menu.
  4. Click on “Switch to Testnet” when prompted. Tonkeeper might ask you to create a new wallet.
  5. Once set up — you’re ready to participate in Tokenova Testnet token sales.
  6. Remember to switch back to the mainnet when working with real stores. As of now, Tokenova operates only on the testnet.

Getting Started with Tokenova Launchpad

  1. Launch the Tokenova Launchpad Telegram Mini App.
  2. Click “Connect Wallet” and select Tonkeeper.
  3. You’ll be redirected to Tonkeeper for authorization, allowing Tokenova to request transactions on your behalf.
  4. For demo purposes, you’ll receive 4 testnet Toncoins, enabling you to participate in demo project token sales.

Always ensure you’re on the correct network (testnet or mainnet) to avoid any unintended transactions or losses.
