tokenproof launches new ‘offers’ feature with adidas as first use case

In a pivotal step towards revolutionizing the world of consumer loyalty, tokenproof has launched a new feature through which brands and communities can now reward users who attend their activations or participate in their digital experiences with real-world discounts and offers.

When guests are scanned into an event or online experience and their attendance or action is recorded, brands now have the ability to airdrop or allow users to claim offers as a “thank you” for being loyal fans and involved members of the community.

This feature went live this week at NFT.NYC, when members of the adidas ALTS universe who attended the ALTS by adidas EVENT [NYC] received a 20% discount within the tokenproof app. To redeem their coupon, all users needed to do is tap the “offers” tab within the app and show their QR code at the register at one of adidas’ official stores in the United States, with the offer being valid for one week.

We’ve made this feature entirely customizable for all communities, allowing them to set the rules on how much of a discount to offer, how much time fans have to redeem their discount, whether it is available in stores and/or online, and more. And it’s easy to implement — retailers can use their native Point of Sale system to scan each QR code, eliminating any need for brands to train employees on new technology or change how they do business as usual.

Beyond attending exclusive IRL activations, brands can reward users with special offers based on their engagement by using our soon-to-be-released Proof of Experience feature. For example, if a YouTuber wants to draw viewers to their content within the first hours of it being posted, they can embed a time-sensitive Proof of Experience QR code into their video and make sure their early viewers receive offers found within the tokenproof app.

We hope that this feature, much like our recently-launched Shopify integration, encourages collaboration between web3 communities and traditional brands. We strongly believe that the real-world value and utility that tokenproof is bringing to token-holders in a simple and frictionless way will cement web3’s longevity.
