Tokoin at Global Blockchain Summit 2019
MOU to be Signed Between Tokoin and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 29th July 2019
The Global Blockchain Investment Summit is being held on the 29th and 30th July 2019 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. Organised by KADIN, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Indonesia, the Blockchain Center of Excellence and Education (BCEE), the Global Blockchain Investment Alliance, the Hong Kong Blockchain Association, and the World Token Issuing Alliance (WTIA), the event will look at key developments in applications, use cases and showcase how blockchain technology can be used to improve efficiency, security, and transparency across multiple industries.
A first for Indonesia, the event will be attended by key dignitaries Rico Rustombi — Vice Chairman of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, KADIN Indonesia, Ender Xu — Founding Chairman of the Global Blockchain Investment Alliance and Chairman — HK Blockchain Association, H.H. Sheikh. Abdullah Bin Rashid Al Sharqi — Member of Ruling Family, Al Fujairah, U.A.E, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani — Chairman of KADIN Indonesia and Darmin Nasution — Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Ministry of the Economic Coordinator Republic of Indonesia.
After the opening remarks and keynote speeches on 29th July morning, Tokoin will sign an MOU with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The MOU entails the support between Tokoin and the Chamber towards the growth of the MSME ecosystem and helping the Chamber create an Indonesian Blockchain Center to help promote local talent. It is also important to note that Tokoin has been working together with the Chamber since November 2018 and having established a close working relationship, it is an absolute privilege and honor that we have the opportunity to continue on our journey together.
Reiner Rahardja, CEO of Tokoin will also be participating in a panel discussion on ‘Driving Indonesia’s Economic Transformation with Blockchain’ and talking about how Tokoin is actively trying to solve a key problem that MSMEs are facing in Indonesia and emerging markets, providing maximum exposure during the first day of the event. More than 500 Investment Institutions and Investors and +3000 industry elites globally are expected to attend, giving Tokoin an opportunity to network and establish important connections for future partnerships as well.
