Tokoin’s Dedication in Preparing the Best Product for MSMEs: Hiring the Former Product Manager of XiaoMi
As the most prominent blockchain-based project in Indonesia, Tokoin has got a super App coming up soon. To assure that their product will be the best to cater to the needs of MSMEs, Tokoin has hired Rendy, the first ever foreigner who had made it as XiaoMi’s Product Manager.
Tokoin, the most prominent blockchain-based project in Indonesia, boasts an impeccable team working silently on the back end, to propel the company to greater heights. It takes a group of extremely hardworking and skilled individuals to push Tokoin to the zenith of tech glory in Indonesia, that it has currently reached. Especially in preparation of Tokoin’s very own super App, the company does not take the creation of it lightly. Tokoin has hired Rendy, who used to work in the giant Chinese mobile phone company as the product manager. Having experiences in managing the products of a mobile company as huge as XiaoMi, Rendy is now Tokoin’s dedicated product manager and one of the key members of the Tokoin family. His experience will surely contribute to the best interest of providing one of the most advanced products to solve MSMEs’ issues.
Rendy’s Profile
Rendy has a whole lot of experience in this space, and his career graph is a testament to how well-equipped he is to execute the role of a product manager for the top project in Indonesia. A very bright individual, Rendy completed his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from President University, Indonesia. He was a recipient of the prestigious President University Scholarship. He then went on to complete his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology. During his time there, he was awarded ‘Outstanding Student in 2017 and 2018’ and ‘Best Excellence Graduate in 2019’.
His professional journey began as an Organization and Strategic Management Intern at a mining subsidiary called Pamapersada Nusantara. He was responsible for looking into multiple functions during his time in the company, such as calculating the turnover, reviewing Man Power Planning (MPP), coding the Operation Division and much more. After his four month stint there, he joined his alma mater, President University, as an assistant lecturer. His time there helped him hone his skills in managing people as well as sharing his expertise to the others.
Finally, in 2018, Rendy was employed as the Product Manager of Xiaomi Technology at their China office, in Wuhan, Hubei. He was the Country Product Manager for Xiaomi India and Xiaomi Indonesia and he was tasked with the responsibility of providing B2B technical support on worldwide CRM system and Xiaomi Business System. He was involved in requirement analysis, market research, product planning and design (PRD), testing and maintaining quality of products. Performing such a wide range of technical tasks has enabled Rendy to sharpen his skills and gradually become the best at what he does. His time at Xiaomi has equipped him with the experience and insight that has helped him excel at Tokoin.
Rendy’s Contribution to Tokoin
Rendy came on board the Tokoin ship in 2019 and he has been an asset to the team ever since. His knowledge in industrial engineering, as well as his experience as the country Product Manager of India and Indonesia at Xiaomi, have surely been a valuable asset for the company. His jovial and helpful nature has made him a vibrant energy in the office. As a product manager, he has been made responsible for supervising the quality of products at Tokoin, and he has been executing his role with complete dedication. He is passionate about creating sustainable technical solutions to empower customers and product value. His role will definitely help Tokoin to reach even greater heights, especially in the development of Tokoin’s upcoming super App.
Currently, Rendy and his product team have been consistently analyzing the market research which Tokoin has had, as well as preparing the product of Tokoin. For him and the team to provide such a super App of Tokoin which also utilizes the blockchain technology, is not an easy task that all product managers can do. We believe that the combination of a very strong and solid team that consists of high-skilled individuals in the Tokoin team, will bring the best product possible for MSMEs.
