Most people already involved in cryptocurrency will think faucets are cheesy and a waste of time.
So what are faucets?
A lot of people look down on faucets — sites where you can get minuscule amounts of cryptocurrency in exchange for providing eyeballs for various ads — bits for clicks basically.
A lot of the sites take a long time to load, visually are cheap and cheesy, some have multiple pop-ups and redirects, some just plain don’t work…
BUT
faucets are a great way to get people started with bitcoin, indeed I started this way, at no cost.
What could be better than free?
First get a wallet say from Coinbase or Abra or Infinito or Bitcoin.com, and then just input the wallet address you’ve got into the faucets!
Voila! You’ll have some bitcoin in your wallet and you are on the start of an incredible journey!
