It is only after 35 hours by train from Moscow (2 hours by plane for the short version) and 2 hours of driving worthy of a rally race that we finally arrive in the small town of Teriberka.

Northern lights in the village of Teriberka

After 4 years of living in Russia, I was used to the idea that the country was not necessarily known for its breathtaking landscapes but simply for its birch forests, its lakes stretching as far as the eye can see becoming ice and grey landscapes in winter. It took some effort, venturing beyond the polar circle (69.1° …

Tokyo with Cinestill 800, @TomGrimbert

I recently came back from a trip to Japan, 10 days discovering the country from Tokyo to Hiroshima as a first timer. Being in Japan for the first time, you can imagine that most of the my images were pretty much clichés of the most famous sights. But, I couldn’t miss this opportunity to bring back my Canon AE-1 on its homeland pairing with my Sony A7iii.

Of course I had seen images of Japan before and I remember being amazed by the incredible atmosphere in the streets Tokyo at night. It’s like a movie scene, everything looks so cinematic…
