A visualisation of ‘Brexit’ using the Revoke Article 50 Petition data
At the time of writing, just over 6 million people across the UK have signed a petition calling on the British government to revoke Article 50. I have created a series of images using this petition to map out and visually explore ‘Brexit.’
To create these images I have taken the data from the petition website and combined it with the government’s census data. From this I have roughly estimated the percentage of people from each constituency who have signed the petition. Constituencies have then been sorted and ranked from highest support to lowest.
