End of the Fringe | Reviews
With four days left of the Edinburgh Fringe, A Little Princess is winding down.
It’s been an exhausting month, at times stressful, hectic and simply mad. But that’s simply the Edinburgh Fringe. Out onto the mile to hand out flyers for hours, often in the pouring rain. Frantically setting up props and then panicking while breaking them down again. Dealing with all sorts of surprises left behind by other theatre companies. (I should shout out to C-Venues, who have been nothing but welcoming, supportive and friendly).
And yet all of that and more is specifically WHY I love the Fringe. its what makes it so unique and memorable. The slog is part of the experience, and sweetens it that much more when you get wonderful feedback from your audiences.
Speaking of which, we’ve had wonderful reviews!
“…a heartwarming and thoughtfully presented show.”
“…A Little Princess thoroughly encapsulates what children’s theatre should be about. It is beautiful, thought provoking and just as captivating for adults.”
“…There were very few dry eyes by the end”
“…a charming piece of story-telling which will enchant both young and old alike”
It’s been a brilliant August. Next up: a week in Croatia with the family, then back to London! Just before I came up I was signed to Branded Talent with the lovely Rob Sandy. I’m excited about the future!
