I oftentimes look at the progress we’ve made as a society over the decades and think to myself, wow, we’ve really come a long way. In a world of political correctness and 24/7 media coverage, it’s hard to really know how far we as individuals in society have come. All it takes is a few glances at social media responses to realize we have a long ways to go.
