Narcissist: 3 Attitudes Present In Egoistic Love

INFINITE PASSION

If you somehow end up being the pair of a narcissist, then you will probably feel like a kind of emotional satellite all the time. In interpersonal relationships, the ego works like a sun: It occupies the central place, it is dazzling, and if you get too close it sprays you. Narcissistic people regard themselves as special and unique, while others consider them inferior, submissive, or pawns.

It is very difficult to start on the road loving someone who is more in love with himself. There’s practically no room. It’s like starting from day one to face a situation of infidelity, because you will always be cheated by the relationship the narcissist has with himself. Egolateria can no longer give someone else a corner where they feel loved and protected. Moreover, the love shared with an egocentric person will always involve the presence of another “entity”: Arrogance. Paradoxically, the more you love him, the more you fuel his sense of superior and the more he will move away from you.

After he empties you, he finds you useless because he has achieved his goal and will go to seek his next source of admiration and love. This leads us to the acknowledgment of other “present” in our relationship with the narcissist: Indifference, lack of empathy and consideration for the feelings and life of the one who loves him. No one can survive long-term under such conditions without risking deterioration — sometimes severe — of self-esteem and generally of its own good functionality and efficiency.
