Despite his protestations, Owen Jones has taken sides.

Owen Jones has been pro-Corbyn since he entered the leadership campaign last year. He has repeatedly shared a platform with him and has defended his leadership against many of the right-wing MSM.

He has only recently been disillusioned as a result of how things have played out. This is a complete misrepresentation of Owen Jones. He has campaigned tirelessly for the Left — part of doing that is questioning the threat that a Labour split would pose to that cause.

For example, here’s an article discussing Owen’s tour of Britain — trying to continue the work of Corbyn and bring about a new age of hope in politics.

What Owen is doing for the movement, is asking it to address the issues that it currently faces. These issues will exist, regardless of who wins — and they deserve answers from all sides of the debate.
