We’re now operating in such hypothetical space I’m not sure that anything I could say has much meaning, but if you leave it up there are lots of opportunities for it to flare up and be taken up by new people. If you take it down, you take one hit and that’s basically it done. And again, as I said above, if they’ve read the piece and think it’s not worth fighting for anyway, there’s not much cost in taking it down.

Basically, do you want to be defending an embarrassing article in public for the next two weeks, or do you want to say, “We didn’t think the article in this instance lived up to our standards so we took it down”.
