Sure — just be aware that any time there are lobbyists pushing for new laws, they are both seeking to remove potential barriers for their clients — and seeking to create barriers for their clients’ potential competitors — ESPECIALLY any who could disrupt the client’s current business.
Look carefully at the bill to see how it might actually slow things down to a pace where the big automotive companies can keep up with smaller competitors, or ways it may force the smaller companies to get acquired by the big ones rather than grow on their own.
