The First Amendment Right to not understand the First Amendment.

This all comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of where we derive our rights. The Constitution for the United States is not the source. The Bill of Rights, which is not a part of the Constitution, but is an attached document to ensure the Federal government knows what not to infringe upon, including those not enumerated. To get an idea of where our rights come from, we have to read the Declaration of Independence. That is the foundational document and speaks to where our rights come from. So, none of us have “Constitutional rights”, we have Natural, God given rights. While the students and reporters had the best intentions, their arguments stem from ignorance and selfishness.
