Connor, I think you miss part of the show. Sure, the brutal deathes and the nude become obvious, but it’s part of the time traditions. If you don’t like it/It’s too hard for you, don’t watch it. It’s part of the setting.
As for the plot holes-
1) What does John have to do at the Wall? If he would stay there, Ramsey would get there and kill everyone and the wildlings. If the night walkers get there, they would kill them all. John had to get to Ramsey, conquer Winterfell and get support, so he could fight the night walkers.
2) Sensa is traditional. She doesn’t know about the doing of the queens, and has no knowledge in leading. Hell, she doesn’t even want to be a queen. She is tired enough from all she has been through, and realises she only want to be home with her family, so she gives John, who is much better in leading, the job. It makes perfect sense.
3) As for Bran — he doesn’t control his power yet. He can’t choose what to see, and he was interested in that memory of his dad, so he returned there.
4) Killing Pycelle was part of Cercei getting her revange. She takes control, so she kills everyone she hated. That’s how you understand she lost all control of herself. Did anyone care about him? no. But does it have a meaning in story? yes.
