How “centrists” became everything they loathed and ridiculed about the left
Owen Jones

So the people Owen refers to “Centrists” are Labour supporting left-wingers, like Collins, who just don’t support Corbyn and are a bit less left wing and a bit less anti-Semitic?

Well on that definition, he has his description pretty right: Slightly-less left wing Labourites are just as ghastly as their Corbynite enemies. Both a lot of sanctimonious idiots who spend their time spouting abuse and hatred on Twitter, both un-electable.

The hard-left would never been able to hijack the Labour party in the first place — like when they first tried and failed in the 80’s — if the “centrist” who they deposed weren’t such a bunch of useless, discredited unpopular nonentities.
