We can be fairly certain that no such thing as “global consciousness” in the Haque mode will ever manifest itself. Like so much else in the progressive lexicon neither it nor its antithesis in Mr. Haque’s lumpen-dialectic, “global fascism,” is a real thing. He and the customers for his ideological snake oil may tell themselves that they can feel the pain of a tortured planet but that feeling is really the warm glow of their smug self-righteousness.

The lexicon of Wokedom is full of such terms—global consciousness, white privilege, cultural appropriation, toxic masculinity, patriarchy, rape culture, etc., etc. that are strictly meaningless. I wrote about this phenomenon, the appearance of a Woke version of Newspeak:

It’s not a new phenomenon, of course. Past authoritarian/totalitarian relied on similar rhetorical constructions: social fascists, international Jewry and so forth. They enable the true believers to skate past the complexities and perplexities of the real world. But when a term like predatory capitalism is held to explain everything, nothing is explained.
