Picking Up the Pace
I’ve decided to change the frequency with which I publish on Medium. I’m going to experiment with sending out a daily post. This is not something I’m comfortable with or that I expect to be good at. But I’m going to give it a try.
Those who know me know that I’m founder and CEO of 10.10.10, the organization that brings 10 serial entrepreneurs from around the country together for 10 days to explore creating new ventures – market-based solutions to wicked problems in health, water, food, energy, learning, infrastructure, waste, security and climate change. In addition to that, I meet regularly with people who are closely connected to the startup community — founders, CEOs, investors, and others. This gives me a certain perspective about what is happening.
In the past we’ve focused exclusively on wicked problems in health. That’s about to change. In October, 10.10.10 will host its first Cities program — focusing on wicked problems in water and infrastructure.
And, in really big news, our first 10.10.10 company, BurstIQ, has announced its plan to do a token crowdsale in August 2017.
Beyond that, I read widely and pretty much constantly.
So I have plenty to write about. Still, I’d like to hear from you. Is there anything you would find particularly interesting? Post comments here to let me know.
