Sherry Caris, Virtually EVERY car that says it takes premium gas will run on 87 unleaded. The car’s Engine ECU and knock sensors will adjust for the lower octance and the car will run the same, just with a few percent less PEAK horsepower. Give it a try and you will never put premium in again.
