Perhaps, although the equity is very likely to be diluted significantly by the time it gets to $1BN. But in any case, a great result if the company makes it that big, and a life-changing reward for an early contributor who took a risk on the idea in its infancy.

Reminds me of the artist who painted Facebook’s first office in return for equity which earned him $200M when they went public.
