As written a few weeks ago, how government people interpret existing laws is most scary factor to startups in Phil.

Today, I’ve gotten a good hint from one of experts.

“Put your business under existing regulation scheme”

If your startup business is new to Phil, government people need to wonder how they should regulate it. But if your business is not new, there is already established way to regulate it. Government people normally don’t surprise market then.

Therefore, if you are proactive enough to focus on circle of influence rather than circle of interest, you would be able to separate your “relatively new business” into several parts of “relatively existing business”. In this way, government people may feel more comfortable to each parts.

In some of the other country, legal environment is evolved to help innovation. In the country, innovation seemingly needs to adjust to legal environment.
