excellent article — after having lived in the US for about 12 years I fully agree with everything you say here.
Even business in America is all about selling people what used to be free (and is still free in other countries). Or they sell addictions like coffee, drugs, big pharma, sugar etc — that is the extent of business in America mostly — create addiction (upon slaves) and exploit them for ever after. Create diseases like diabetes and profit from selling your victims medications which do not heal while you prevent cheap/free solutions from being widely known (i.e. that if you cut down carbs and start exercising you will probably cure your pre-diabetes) . Our biggest problem here is having psychopaths in positions of power. They cannot care about others even if they wanted to (it’s the nature of their disease).
