EVs can recharge to 80% in 20 minutes, or battery swap in 45 seconds. And again, if you are using it as a service you’ll never even encounter that process, it will happen before you encounter the vehicle. Ranges are already at 300, and will only increase. Also-how often do you take a 400 mile trip? 80%+ of trips by car are >10 miles.

The electricity will come from renewable resources, which are cheaper TODAY to install than coal or gas.

The life cycle analysis of the total impact per mile of ICEs and AEVs, and solar power, has been reviewed exhaustively. Yes, there is some impact from solar energy production. No, they net impact is not remotely comparable to that of ICEs.
