My journey building a (hopefully) successful Android App. (Cont.)

Hello my friends,

It has been a very busy few weeks, unfortunately that means there has been little time for writing code.

However, I was able to get a few hours in this morning, and I’m hoping that I will be able to continue some more this week.

This morning I was able to add more functionality to the user profile page as well as correct the issue I had with the User class and the TicketSystem class. I got to learn about creating Java Singletons so that I can use the same instance of a class throughout the app. It is morning like this that I love. Now when you sign in through Google, it updates the User class, and I can continue using that data anywhere else it is needed.

My next steps are to create the Firebase database that will hold all the game objects and send notifications to the opponent of a player when it is their turn. After that I need to include both Facebook and Twitter so that a user can play against a list of friends.

Follow that up with completing the game functionality, and some design tweaks and we have ourselves a MVP.

Here is the GitHub link, feel free to check out the code and let me know what I can do better. I love to learn and take criticism well.

Thanks for following along!
