Phew… I got some gooseys reading this for the third time. Thank you Matthew for sharing yourself with us. To say I know what this feels like seems like an understatement as it is an experience I have to live everyday, right down to the fantasy of wanting to turn down the volume in ones ears (hearing aids Boots ad).

Grace is what sustains relationships, if we focus on rules, we have lost the relationship. And as our Father has shown the right way to do relationships, we join Him in it as we offer grace to every one of our neighbours.
2017 was my hardest year yet, it was difficult to take my advice because I was deathly ill. However! it only solidified these thoughts especially from trusting more in God. I did play alot and continued to ‘express’ in spite of sufferings. This is more than a resolution now, it’s real life, valid for 2017, 2018, today and always.

Totally get you. A good designer should be able to solve problems using design tools regardless of what the output is whether a service/an interface/food/product. I learned User Experience via Service Design years ago. Service Design was the thing to be done while User Experience was the way we did it.
It’s always a bit strange to me when people write or talk about Design-Thinking without mentioning IDEO https://www.ideou.com/ who were one of the first to actually practice in the real (corporate) world and for the past 20+yrs
