Why I Run In The Morning
Andrew Merle

Totally agree! I have been a runner for 39 years, and I long ago realized if I don’t exercise in the morning, it probably won’t get done. I am a slightly round person, despite all the exercise I do, but I joke that I would weigh 300 lbs if I didn’t exercise. More importantly, I would have been admitted to the psych unit long ago! People always say I have the happy gene, and I thought this was true, until an injury forced me to quit all exercise for 3 weeks, and I thought I might murder small children and cute baby animals. I realized how much I rely on drugs: the endorphins I create by running and riding my bike. Thanks for reminding us all why we drag our butts out of bed before dawn to make sure we have a happy and productive day….aloha, Toni
