From Black and White, to Black and Color

(From Fear & Shame to Life & Love)

Under the old bonds of religious legalism, everything seems to be a matter of either black or white — of either sin, or the soul-stifling requirement of adherence to Laws.

And under such systems of religious law, people have only the choice of either overtly sinning, or of doing their best to try to be righteous by their own ability…

They can either engage the false pretense of self-righteousness, or the shaming condemnation of themselves and/or others, amid failure to live up their understanding of the standard…

Otherwise, they find themselves trying to combine both legalism and sin together, into some shade of self-rationalizing gray…

But now, in Christ, it’s black and color —

It’s either the devil’s stale and blackly negative lies, unto sin… or the Light and positivity of God’s living and vibrantly liberating love …

Such love, is both from and unto the true freedom of Christ’s imputed and indwelling nature — by grace through faith in Him…

In Christ, there is genuine freedom — to mature into God’s gloriously prismatic actualities, and into the reality that all-good-things-are-possible amid His sovereignly loving will…

God is Light in Whom there is no darkness at all

God is Love

Jesus is the Messiah

Faith in Him results in salvation, transformation, and eternal life
