Airbnb designed a great platform and optimized the digital user experience over the years to create this seamless experience for guest & hosts that works incredibly well. However if something goes wrong between host and guest, you are pretty much on your own. Their customer service and response for help in disputes or small misunderstandings is terrible. I can only speak of the perspective as a guest, but Airbnb doesn’t really seem to care to hear from you.
