Thanks for such a great post.

As a startup co-founder, I thought a lot about what kind of investor I’m looking for and would love to work with. In my opinion, the key thing here is that pre-seed and seed investors should be true partners to the founders.

It’s still not about money and valuation. And it’s not only about investor’s expertise, network, and experience. It’s important, but probably most of the investors are experienced and connected fellows.

For me, It’s about who you are going to work with. Why she decided to invest in me, what is her goals and believes, what is her work style. Does she believe in me and my venture. Can I rely on her and be fully opened without worrying that she will give up on me.

I believe that on every stage founders have to perform a full due diligence on investors and spend some time with them to understand them better before the check can be accepted. But at the very early stages, it’s paramount to founders to find a true business partner and not just money.

You and Gil Ben-Artzy are doing a great job. And I glad to see once again that it’s personal for you, that you care and willing to help.

Keep rocking :)
