Cocoa Beach: Florida’s Best Little Beach Town

Cocoa Beach is often referred to as Florida’s ideal beach town offering visitors with an endless variety of recreational activities. Located approximately one hour by car from Orlando, the drive to this Space Coast community is worth the drive.

It doesn’t matter if you are planning a family vacation, leisure activity, or simply a relaxing day at the beach, Cocoa Beach can provide that and much more.

Cocoa Beach and the surrounding area provides vacationers to some of the most affordable activities found in Florida. In addition to, Cocoa Beach provides vacationers with deep sea fishing, surfing, kayaking, or parasailing recreational opportunities. Visitors can test their luck on board a casino cruise ship, or choose a river excursion to observe some of Florida’s amazing wildlife.

However, there is much more to see and do while visiting Cocoa Beach. One of the main attractions along the Space Coast is the Kennedy Space Center where you might catch a rocket lift off. Visitors can learn about the area’s rich history by exploring the historic sites or visiting a museum. The Brevard Zoo is not to be missed, it’s always a big hit with the children. Orlando is only a short driving distance from Cocoa Beach where visitors can enjoy all the major attractions and still have time to observe a beautiful sunset while having dinner back at the beach.

At the end of a fun-packed day, it’s time to kick back and take in some of the night life on the beach. Visitors can choose from a number of exciting night clubs to seaside eateries.
