Holiday escape to the Shenandoah Valley

Nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, lie quaint little cabins all within walking distance of the Shenandoah River. This rural mountain community is inhabited by more forest animals than by people. The cabins are furnished, clean and attractive, where you can kick back and relax and listen to nature’s sound.

Skiing is popular during the holiday season with two featured resorts — Massanutten and Bryce offering winter fun. A number of activities are offered year-round that include horseback riding, hiking trails throughout its national parks, fishing in nearby lakes and rivers and mountain biking. You can see the stars and constellations on a clear night. See part of history while you visit civil war museums and battlefields. Enjoy some excellent vineyards that are located within easy driving distance, or take in a few rounds of golf at the Caverns Country Club or Shenvalee Golf Resort.

Visitors can choose from a variety of lodging and amenities. Most cabins come equipped with an indoor Jacuzzi and fireplace. If you prefer to stay in something more modern, you can choose a lodge that comes equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, linens, telephone, stereo, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and BBQ grill.
