9. The making of Hades (30-day writing challenge):

Ever since watching this YouTube video, I’ve been fascinated with the idea of living out of my car. Now that I own my own Jeep Wrangler (which I’ve christened ‘Hades’), I’ve been slowly but surely building it out to support an overland-based lifestyle.

Here’s how I’m thinking about the different iterations of my car (I spent this afternoon creating a spreadsheet to log the journey):

I’m about to do a roadtrip back to Michigan where I’ll hang out for a couple weeks (route below). I have V0 down, but I would love to have V1 down before this drive. I’m going to need to install a new roof rack — I’m pretty sure the one I have is not super canopy installation-friendly…:(. I’ll also need to acquire a camp stove. I can probably get away with my current cooler…hmm
