Themes and undercurrents…

The notorious 2007 financial crash liberated me from editorial illustration, where I’d laboured for many years under the illusion that I was enjoying the splendour of it all…

Working at various part-time jobs while continuing to develop a serious sense of style…

I tended to a slightly sardonic take on things but hardly inclined to jokes or ‘gags’ as I think they’re called in the DK (divided kingdom)…

Erica Jong’s 1973 novel, Fear of Flying, has been influential no doubt and I’ve always fallen under the allure of powerful women…

Initially preoccupied by the band member’s extraordinarily large guitar, I now understand that what we see here is the reality of a man with exceedingly tiny feet, sinking into a sea of existential carpet. Am I reading to much into all this my dear readers?

Intrigued by the inextricable relationship of good and evil…

and my own fragility………………………………………………………………I love my life when I’m not despairing and I love the dotted lines that appear effortlessly from the slightest finger pressure of the keypad. Insinuating so much more to follow.
