Knock knock, /u/.

Neo: This isn’t real?

Morpheus: What is real? How do you define real? If you’re talking about what you feel, what you can smell, what you taste and see, then real is simply electrical signals interpreted by the brain.

In the action sci-fi film The Matrix, we are presented with a dystopian future in which reality as perceived by most humans is actually a simulated reality called “the Matrix”, created by sentient machines to subdue the human population, while their bodies’ heat and electrical activity are used as an energy source. If we apply this to today’s technology milieu, we see some frightening parallels. Albeit not as dark, today’s world is actually hooked to a simulated reality without ends.

To begin, let’s first pose “What is Reality.” If the content you experience is no longer in proper temporal context as it occurs, is that still considered reality? No. Far from it.

What is Reality? How do you define Reality? If you’re talking about what what you see and hear at any given moment, then Reality is simply the content that you experience in time.

Any experience shared without its temporal context is not reality.

Modern social platforms are designed to drain your time and the valuable personal data you create. They do this by removing temporal context from your content. When we see content, we mentally process its temporal context as we consume it. We have an approximate idea of when something occurs, and assign this approximation in order to build a cogent mental narrative.

How we post and experience content on a fixed timeline with today’s Social Networks

The digital counterpart of this processing pattern is called an algorithm. Popular social and messaging apps use algorithms to keep you transfixed in an alternate reality data stream call a Feed. The feed removes temporal context across all posts in your network in order to create a reality around specific messages and advertisements. As a result, marketers have the power to influence the decision-making process en-masse by altering everyone’s perceptions of reality.

Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.

There’s a better way.

This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill — the story ends, you wake up in your bed and continue to use your favorite Social Networks.

You take the red pill — you download Alfa, and I show you how awesome the Blockchain really is.

Remember: all I’m offering is the truth. Nothing more.

Memory in computer processing, on the blockchain, and memory inside the mind, all serve the same function: they allow you to continue where you had left off. It grants the ability to write a story from start to end — a story that arises out of time needs memory attached to Time. It is a continuum, and it is based on Time. Learning is also enabled by memory and grounded in temporal context.

More pictures were taken in 2015 than the entire history of the analog camera. As we create and share greater amounts of personal content, temporal context becomes critical for storage and retrieval. For example, if you took pictures last week and shared them today, your network will experience it in today’s context — you’d have to indicate that this event happened last week. If you want to revisit that experience five years from now, it would be in the wrong time frame and you’d have to scroll endlessly to get there. The serial basis on which experiences are presented in a feed is drastically and inherently flawed. In today’s prevailing feed construct, what you experience is filtered to fit you instead of you fitting into the experience. Why? Simply, to put you under control.

If you can force 100Gb of data into a computer processor that can only properly function with 50Gb it will eventually overload and malfunction — not too different from a DDOS attack. As malfunctions become prevalent, processing power will slow to a point where Injection attacks can occur. Over time, the computer accepts the injections as reality and soon it’ll operate from that reality.

When you post your stories into a social network feed, all you will end up with, is the limit of your own programming.

That is precisely what’s happening to every user on every social network to date. Their minds, your mind, is under attack. You’re fed a feed that you cannot handle in one shot, and you’re injected with marketing data every 3–5 posts. Soon after, you’re buying things you’d never buy if you were operating at your complete capacity.

Alfa provides a dynamic Timeline where you can travel to and post at any point in Time.

What if we can change all that? What if we can take the blinders off and free your mind? Is that a future worth fighting for?

We believe so.

Follow us and cheer along the way as we work to show you a better world.

I know you’re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you’re afraid. You’re afraid of us. You’re afraid of change. I don’t know the future. I didn’t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it’s going to begin. I’m going to hang up this phone, and then I’m going to show these people what you don’t want them to see. I’m going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries, a world where anything is possible. Where we go from there, is a choice I leave to you.

Free your mind.
