You can scrap minimum wage laws at the same time. — If anyone can get a living wage job….then a private employer can either choose to compete by paying at least the living wage, OR, maybe the job on offer is so good that an employee would rather work for less than minimum wage —
Maybe it’s a ‘test holidays in greece’ kind of job. Or, test out pubs showing an England game.. Or, more lightly, maybe its a helping elderly people by visiting them and offering them companionship…something very rewarding for you, but there might simply not be economically feasible.
It doesn’t matter. You simple dont need the minimum wage laws anymore — companys must pay the correct amount for an employee, or that same employee will leave and go get a job from the job centre.
