Priority matrix’s other name is The Eisenhower Matrix.

The Eisenhower Matrix, which is also known as the Urgent-Important Matrix that helps you to prioritize your tasks based upon their urgency and importance. It also allows you to identify tasks that you should either delegate or leave undone.

Dwight Eisenhower invented this priority matrix that helps us prioritize our tasks by urgency and importance. This Eisenhower matrix results in four quadrants with various strategies to determine the urgency of one’s tasks.

Here is how the four quadrants work:

Quadrant#1 (Do):

These tasks are both urgent and important. These are “do first” tasks because they are critical for your life or career in some way and need to be finished right away. You want to get these tasks done as soon as possible.

Quadrant#2 (Decide):

These tasks are important but not urgent. This is where you want to invest the majority of your time. These tasks are in line with your long-term goals. Your goals will stay constant, anything that will be beneficial to you in the long term will fall into the second quadrant.

Quadrant#3 (Delegate):

These tasks are urgent but not important. These tasks may seem urgent at the time while it is happening, but these tasks can be handled by other people.

Quadrant#4 (Delete):

These tasks are neither important nor urgent. These tasks are simply a waste of your time, and they should be eliminated. If you are able to identify and eliminate all of your quadrant 4 tasks, you will free up some much-needed time to invest in your quadrant 2 tasks.

Here is my matrix, i tried my best to apply that matrix to my routine of last two days.

>How efficient were you on the day you followed your revised plan compared to any other day?

By this practice i’m able to do my all work with more efficiency, in accurate manners and within a specific time.

>Were there any challenges that you faced while executing your revised task lists?

Yes,Procrastination. I just have to fight with it and achieved the target.

>Were there any challenges that you faced while executing your revised task lists?

I tried to inform my family that from this time no one disturb me , I’ll be working on my project. I’ll be with you after sometime.

“ Just start up with this matrix and becomes more productive”

Thanks.
