Let’s Begin The Kind Chain

“Always be a little kinder than necessary”

-James M.Barrie

In this cruel era of massive competition, where we are taught to grow smarter, kindness is like a fresh blow of air; gives a chance to breath again, breath deeply, collect the scattered pieces of humanity and binds us again.

Practicing random acts of kindness was probably the most beautiful thing I did in my life, cause unfortunately I am not a permanent kind person. Practicing kindness changed my perspective that kindness is weak. In fact kindness is powerful enough to turn the course of your life. It’s contagious, have it once and pass it on..

  • I can never forget the smile of the the little girl, who came to our house to get her brother’s kite from our roof. She was a bit reluctant to ask about going to the roof, and then it was out of her range hanging on some rod, she came back and was standing in “don’t know what to do now” state and told me slowly about her problem. I gave her a generous smile (that I usually do not give in these situations) went up with her, despite doing some important thing, and gave her kite. Her eyes were shining, her lips were smiling, she did not say “thank you” but I listened it.
  • A second cousin wanted to take admission in my university. She was so shy to go to university alone and it was scorching heat on the day. She did me a call and requested me to go with her. I DID NOT want to do that at all, cause there was no logic in doing it. I managed to do it all against my will, payed the Careem rent myself, bought her fresh juice as a treat of being in my university. She did me a long Thank you text that night and I really felt it deep in my heart that no matter how little we do for others against our will, it never goes insignificant.
  • I ironed my brother’s college uniform this morning, despite our heated arguments and his being super rude last night. We never became so quickly okay ever before.
  • I made my little cousin “ Aloo ka pratha” as his mom was sick and he did not want to eat anything else. He was never been this nicer kid ever before.
  • I played with my niece all the evening, took swings with her, sang with her nursery rhymes and she do not want to go back home as “Tooba lala is so good”

What I am trying to convey by mentioning these little things is, kindness never goes unrewarded. Someone’s heart is the little most thing that you win by kindness and the greatest thing is also the same!

So do not stop this chain. In this cruel word, your kindness is something that can bring some one back to life, restore the faith in humanity, and make you unforgettable.

“Carry a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you”
