I was in the third grade and was asked why there was no water on the top of Mt. Sinai (or some mountain) when it occurred to me: 1) how could that possibly have any relevance to my life and 2) water doesn’t generally flow uphill.

But I do love Genesis, especially the parts where Eve is blamed for pretty much everything wrong with the world.
