Hi there, thank you for taking the time to respond to my article. You are correct, there are biological differences between men and women. Most academics acknowledge this, working in two major streams of though: difference and dominance. Men and women are not only biologically different, but they are also socially different. What is important to consider is “what should the consequences of this difference be?”

Yes men and women are different. But not so different that epidemic levels of violence against women should be acceptable. Not so different that there should such a stark asymmetry in who holds leadership positions.

It’s a very interesting field, and if you find yourself so compelled, I encourage you to conduct research in this area.
