Week 06: GSoC’23 with OpenMRS

This week, I dove into some intense coding and content creation as I migrated the Start Visit Form to React Hook Form and prepared a mid-term evaluation video. Let’s dive into the details!

Once the migration started , it was time to focus on the mid-term evaluation video as well. This video plays a crucial role in communicating progress and achievements to the mentor and the community.

To ensure the smooth flow of information, I planned the video content meticulously. I began by summarizing the work completed during the first half of the GSoC program, highlighting key milestones, challenges overcome, and a few lessons learned.
Accompanied by a visually engaging presentation within , I showcased the project’s overall progress, discussing the advantages of migrating the Forms to React Hook Form. Furthermore, the video allowed me to describe the technical aspects of the migration and explaining the optimization achieved.

Through clear demonstrations, I exhibited the seamless user experience and improved performance observed.
Last but not least, I took time to extend gratitude to my mentor for their feedback and support throughout the journey. Their valuable feedback has played a vital role in ensuring the project’s success and my growth as a developer.

Finally, I uploaded the mid-term evaluation video , ensuring it was easily accessible to my mentors and the GSoC community.
