Week 11: GSoC’23 with OpenMRS
Week 11!!!!! has been a whirlwind of activity as I dove headfirst into fine-tuning the Allergy Form, ramping up the testing process for the Start Visit Form, and making significant strides with the Vitals & Biometrics Form, medications order form .
Walk with me in the progress I’ve made in these crucial areas .
Polishing the Allergy Form
I meticulously examined the original structure, ensuring a seamless transition while optimizing the form for the new framework’s capabilities.
By refining the last bits of code and addressing minor adjustments,
the Allergy Form was successfully migrated and primed to leverage the power of Reach Hook Form , functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly.
Strides with Vitals & Biometrics Form
The highlight of this week was undoubtedly the substantial progress made with the Vitals & Biometrics Form. I dedicated time to refining the form’s user interface, optimizing the data collection mechanism, and integrating it seamlessly into the Reach Hook Form framework.
Leveraging the framework’s features, I’ve taken significant steps towards creating a seamless form.

Simultaneously, I embarked on the journey of fine-tuning the Medications Form. This form acts as a vital bridge between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating accurate medication management. My efforts were focused on perfecting every aspect of the form — from input mechanisms to data validation.
