Week 5: UI Implementation and Backend Integration

Continued Progress

Building on last week’s momentum, my major focus this week was dealing with various UI blockers that surfaced during early development. These blockers ranged from minor bugs to more complex integration issues. Here’s how I addressed them:

• Bug Fixes: I encountered several bugs related to data rendering and UI responsiveness. Through debugging and testing, I was able to identify these issues.
• Integration Challenges: Some components were not interacting as expected with the backend services. By revisiting the integration logic and using the OpenMRS CLI for real-time debugging, I managed to identify these inconsistencies.

Learning and Growth

This week wasn’t just about overcoming challenges; it was also about learning and growing as a developer. Here are some key takeaways:

• Enhanced Debugging Skills: Dealing with complex bugs and integration issues honed my debugging skills. I learned new techniques and tools that will be useful in future projects.
• Better Understanding of User Experience: By focusing on user interactions , I gained a deeper understanding of what makes a UI intuitive and user-friendly.
