Authorize access to TopicFlower to the fanpage and Twitter account
Connecting with Facebook: Permissions
In order to create a Brand and work with the tool, it’s essential that you accept all permissions TopicFlower requested. Otherwise, the tool will not be able to get the necessary information to work correctly.
Which permits we request and why?
- Get e-mail address: When you create an account we request your e-mail address to identify you as an user. We will use it to send notifications and messages of your brands, while the e-mail that is associated with your Facebook account (may be the same in both cases or not, as you decide) its the one the system will use when you “Log in with facebook”.
This request does not violate the privacy of your account and we will not spam or abuse use.
- Manage fanpages: This permit is necessary to access to the fanpages associated with your Facebook account. Its essential that you accept it in order to get its information, publish and visualize the evolution of your brand conversation.
- Publication: Required so topicflower can publish in the fanpage connected all posts you create and schedule from the tool.
- Read insights: For creating reports and viewing the data in different modules TopicFlower need to read the statistics that Facebook provides for each fanpage.
Omitting any requested permission you won’t be able to connect the brand with its corresponding fanpage. Remember that you can remove the permissions anytime and delete all the activity of TopicFlower in your account.
Connecting with Twitter: Permissions
When you connect a brand with Twitter you will have to accept the access of TopicFlower to the account. Accepting these permissions, the tool will be able to:
- Read the Tweets of the account.
- Know who are the followers of the brand.
- Know which is the brand.
- Get your account statistics.
- Post Tweets that you create with the tool.
If you omit this access, TopicFlower won’t be able to connect the account to the brand.
