TOP Network Announces $3 Million Dollar Buy-Back Program

We are pleased to announce that TOP Network will be buying back $3,000,000 worth of TOP tokens on the secondary market. The buy back period will begin soon.

After many months of research and development, we have never been more confident in reaching our lofty goals. As most of you know, the past several months have been challenging, with some delays to the main net. However, developing cutting edge technology in uncharted territories is bound to have unforeseen obstacles. The challenge at hand is extremely complex, and even one overlooked detail can be catastrophic. We are immensely appreciative of the community members who stuck with us, and continue to lend us your support.

We are now at the precipice of releasing truly groundbreaking technology, and we could not be more excited. While some have yet to learn about TOP Network, that should change once we deliver a public chain that truly solves the issues confronting the entire industry. This will ring even truer after TOP Chain begins supporting DApps which are likely to have the most Daily Active Users of any in the space.

The reason we have decided to initiate the buy-back is two-fold:

1. Community Appreciation: We understand that the last several months have been challenging for us all. The TOP Network team greatly appreciates the support and resilience of the community, and we wanted to show it. We hope this action will bring about market-stability, and increased community activity.
2. Staking and Main Net: In the early days after the main net launch, the chain will be in a vulnerable state. It will take some time to accrue an abundance of node operators. As such, TOP Network will run a number of nodes to ensure the security and performance of TOP Chain. As more node operators join TOP Network over time, this need will decrease. The tokens which are bought back will be locked up to fulfill the deposit requirements necessary to run nodes.

Remember, main net is just the beginning. The TOP community with us now are here even before the early adopters. The goal is to support real businesses and create real value, all while bringing decentralization to areas where it’s desperately needed. Again, thank you for your support.
